We’re seeking a curious, open-minded, innovative, and experienced individual to lead our detergent production team in Nacala Mozambique. This individual should demonstrate the ability to communicate, lead, drive outputs and maintain quality of products as well as customer satisfaction.
- Significant experience in Planning & forecasting production outputs
- Ability to create, innovate, and participate in new product development
- Ensure consistent improvements on current products based on customer feedback and needs
- Play a key role in research and development team always spearheading market trends
- Sound knowledge on report writing
- Significant experience in quality control & assurance
- Ability to drive cost efficiencies to bring reduction in production costs
- Ensure overall equipment effectiveness
- Plan for and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules
- Oversee TAT for machine breakdowns
- Ensure capacity utilization, line and labor productivity
- Ability to plan for capacity expansions ahead of need
- Ability to highly motivate and inspire factory team members leading to problem-solving approach, willingness to stretch and willingness to collaborate with each other.
- Ensure high standards of Safety, Health, Hygiene and effluent treatment.
- Eliminate occupational hazards and disease and ensure prime health in the work teams.
- Ability to implement SOP for quality and productivity related tasks.
- Providing necessary training to the subordinates and new recruits
- Responsible for the good housekeeping in the plant premises as per OSHA regulations
Education qualifications & experience
Bsc in Chemistry or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience, 5 years in a Production Manager role
