We Are
Azam Marine limited
Azam Marine Limited, inspired by the heritage of early Arab traders, specialises in the construction and design of premium ferries using the finest aluminium imported from Australia.
Our fleet includes several Cummins-powered, high-speed and high-capacity catamarans in addition to Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) Passenger Speedboats.
Azam Marine’s commitment to quality led us to the Australian boat building company Incat Crowther Design and US engine company Cummins Power.
In Tanzania, Azam Marine is also one of the most reputable marine shipping companies providing freight and vehicle delivery services from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar, Pemba and Tanga.
We have invested in our own trucks, allowing us to provide a door-to door service to mainland and across the islands while keeping our rates affordable and maintaining a high level of service for the satisfaction of our customers.
Our Services
Passenger & Cargo Services
Our Ro-Ro vessels transport passengers and cargo to and from Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Pemba and Tanga.
We also have vessels strictly available on demand and with no specific route. These vessels can transport goods to any destination in Africa as long as an agreement has been met with both parties.
Additionally, we also offer a door-to-door service, where we collect the commodities, you need to transport from your location to the port in our trucks.
On-Demand Vessel Charter
Our charter service can be customised to suit customer preferences.
We can handle all types of goods including vehicles, loose cargo, containers, and dangerous/hazardous goods.
All of our vessels are fully insured to cover any risk that might arise during the trip.
Our captains and crews are well trained, experienced and equipped to ensure safety of both passengers and cargo.
