Azam Inland Container Depot (AICD) is located in the Chang’ombe area of Dar es Salaam, nearly 6 kilometres from the port, and offers one of the most secure and safest storage facilities preferred by many importers and exporters passing through the Dar es Salaam port.

We have a Customs office, Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS), and other Government Departments involved in the clearance process as well as a bank on-site to facilitate quick processing and clearance of cargo.

Our services include receiving import containers under Custom Bond from the port, as well as offering storage for containerised cargo and less than container load (LCL) shipments. In addition to this, we have two completely secured warehouses for receiving and storing loose cargo including wheat bran for export. 

Azam ICD is outfitted with sophisticated handling equipment for processing containers, as well as advanced IT systems for container location and handling, including consignment processing and clearance.
