In 2018, the Bakhresa Group diversified into the Hospitality and Leisure industry. The Group strives to develop thrilling experiences through its leisure segment while operating under the tagline “Making Life Fun”. Our objective is to operate the most appealing water sports and marina facilities in East and Central Africa.

Later in 2020, when the Group Chairman, Mr Said Salim Bakhresa, was commended by both the Tanzanian and Zanzibari Presidents, we entered the hospitality sector to provide exceptional resort and spa experiences. With environmental protection at the forefront of our mind, the Group has guaranteed that sustainability stays at the heart of the hospitality and leisure services, whether in terms of design, construction, or operations.

Our service offerings are designed to create great family moments for both local and foreign guests looking to escape the monotony of their busy and routine lives, as well as a more professional ambiance at the hotel for business visitors.

The hotel was built completely keeping in mind the modern green building concepts and technologies, earning it a 5-STAR rating in design and construction from the Green Building Council South Africa. Going a step further, we have developed a number of programmes in the form of educational signs and guest participation activities to support our hotel’s sustainability initiatives, thus encouraging them to make green choices.
