Bakhresa Grain Milling (Mozambique) Limitada
Bakhresa Grain Milling (Mozambique) Limitada was incorporated in 2006. Our business activities include grain handling, bulk storage of wheat grains, wheat milling, woven bag manufacturing, as well as operating transport and logistics.
We have a well-established, ultra-modern wheat mill with a daily milling capacity of 500 tonnes. The wheat grain silos next to the mill have a storage capacity of 45,000 tonnes.
In October 2012, Bakhresa Mozambique launched a new state-of-the-art ‘Poly Propylene Woven Bags’ unit. The packaging division specialises in producing premium quality woven sacks in various sizes and grades, both printed and plain, to meet the wide range of market needs in the industrial and agricultural sectors. We have invested in the latest machinery and equipment from Starlinger with backward and forward integration related to packing and stitching.
Finally, our transport division plays an important role in our supply chain by ensuring that raw materials arrive at our facility quickly along with ensuring that our products are distributed to our consumers in perfect condition. We ensure a reliable and timely delivery to the market in Mozambique and neighbouring countries. Our fleet is managed through our internal workshop, equipped with service bays and specific equipment operated by well-trained mechanical professionals.
Whether it is wheat milling, packaging, or transportation, all of our team members have extensive knowledge and experience in their respective fields.
We have milling experts, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, chartered accountants, fleet management experts, and MBAs on staff who are dedicated to providing high-quality wheat flour at an affordable price.
In 2018 we were awarded 2nd position as “The Best Classified for Contribution to the Reduction of the Country’s Budget Deficit, through Income Tax Payment” by the Ministry of Finance. In 2021, we were ranked 2nd in Mozambique for “Best Practice on Safety and Health at Workplace in the Category of Large Industry” by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
