Azam Bakeries Company Limited (ABCL) specialises in the production of sweet and savoury biscuits for distribution throughout Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
ABCL was founded in the early 1970s to meet the growing demand for high-quality bread. Over the years, we have listened to the changing tastes of the Tanzanian people and have added tasty and healthy items such as cookies, cakes, and much more to our product portfolio. Our biscuits are also available in a variety of flavours, including strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.
Today, our team of expert bakers is working hard to refine our existing healthy, low-cost to high-end quality biscuits, as well as introducing new options for our consumers.
As the country’s largest baker, our aim is to be the Tanzanian market leader in the bakery and confectionery sector by offering both traditional and innovative high-quality goods at reasonable rates. We also seek to enhance our business processes on a continual basis by employing experienced workers and using the latest technologies.
Azam Bakeries Limited is growing its production and distribution capacities to serve existing and potential new markets.
