The Bakery & Confectionery division is the pioneer operation within the Bakhresa Group. Following the enormous success of Azam Restaurant in the early 1970s, Azam Bakeries Company Limited was founded to satisfy the growing demand for our bakery and confectionery products.
Known today as one of Tanzania’s leading biscuit makers, we offer a selection of sweet and savoury biscuits in a variety of flavours. Our skilled bakers work hard to refine our existing healthy, low-cost to high-end quality biscuits as well as introducing new options for our consumers.
The Bakhresa Group has also invested in a well-equipped laboratory where our goods are tested in the safest and most hygienic environment possible to ensure that our biscuits retain their quality and freshness by the time they reach the market.
As the country’s largest baker, our aim is to be the Tanzanian market leader in the bakery and confectionery sector by offering both traditional and innovative high-quality goods at reasonable rates.
