Bakhresa Grain Milling Rwanda Limited
Bakhresa Grain Milling Rwanda Limited was established in 2009 with the objective of producing high-quality wheat products for both domestic consumption and export to Eastern Congo.
Bakhresa Rwanda has a modern facility that was built with all-new machinery purchased from a European company. We were the first company to build a wheat milling plant in the Kigali Special Economic Zone.
Our wheat flour is available in 2kg to 50kg packages and is distributed to bakeries, biscuit manufacturers, home bakers, and, ultimately, end consumers.
Bakhresa Rwanda also owns and operates a fleet of trucks for the transportation of raw materials and distribution of finished products. This allows us to maintain a competitive advantage while ensuring availability of high-quality products at reasonable prices.
Our qualified team is composed of engineers, millers, trained technicians, and other professionals, with whom we collaborate on all business aspects. Their ability to share their expertise and walk down the same path with a shared agenda is one of the key drivers that adds value to the organisation.
With the increase in demand for our products, we are now planning to expand our production capacity and build additional warehouses.
Bakhresa Grain Milling (Rwanda) Limited was conferred the prestigious “Manufacturer of the Year 2017” Award by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) Business Excellence Awards among the 17 best nominees.
We were also named as Rwanda Revenue Authority’s (RRA) “Best Large Taxpayer 2020” and the WSA’s “1st Best Customer in Electricity 2012-2013”.
