With the firm belief that optimal vehicle performance begins with a clean engine, the Bakhresa Group entered the petroleum industry in 2016 by founding United Group Limited to distribute premium refined fuels. In 2017, we released a series of carefully top-of-the-line products under the trade name United Petroleum. Products which are refined to serve our clients who are based mainly in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.

Our product range includes, though not limited to, unleaded petrol, Kerosene innovative oils and greases as well as the 50ppm low sulphur content diesel. Our selection is based on products which guarantees optimum performance, outstanding protection, long lubricant life and system efficiency.

While our unleaded petrol is adequate for sophisticated automobiles and is available all-year long, we are compliant to 50 parts per million (PPM) low sulphur Gasoil. We also provide kerosene which fulfils Jet A1 and TBS requirements, making it appropriate for jet propulsion engines, cooking, and lighting.

To ensure the delivery of high-quality products, the Bakhresa Group has invested in cutting-edge facilities and logistics, such as our own depot, a marine charter, tanker trucks, and petrol stations. We are, in fact, the proud owner of Zanzibar’s largest depot currently under construction that will allow us to offer flawless bunkers to sensitive boat engines via serving purified Bunkers.
