Bakhresa Grain Milling (Burundi) Limited was created in May 2009 and it began production in July 2013. We quickly became the leading wheat milling factory in Burundi in terms of quality and volume production capacity.

Apart from investing in modern and advanced technology that meets European standards and using premium quality raw materials, we place a high priority on adhering to regional and international standards in the wheat flour manufacturing process. This approach has resulted in us receiving a certification as well as a quality product license from the Bureau Burundais de Normalisation et Contrôle de la Qualité (BBN).

Our team is composed of highly qualified and experienced professionals such as quality controllers, industrial electricians and mechanicals, admins, accountants, and marketers who work in good team spirit. Our ability to keep knowledge and skills up to date, as well as invest in capacity building, particularly with the technical team, is critical to our success. As a member of the Bakhresa Group, we also leverage group synergy and knowledge transfer by training local staff.
