The Bakhresa Group invested in the prestigious heritage milling facility, which is located 5 kilometres from the Port of Durban and transformed it into a state-of-the-art wheat milling facility. The Bakhresa SA (Pty) Limited facility is KwaZulu-Natal’s largest mill under one roof.
We are able to strictly adhere to Food and Safety standards, including FSSC 22000, due to the confluence of highly qualified personnel and ultra-modern milling equipment.
Our products are marketed under the Azam brand, which has gained traction in Kwazulu-Natal, Gauteng, and parts of the Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo provinces.
Bakhresa SA consistently offers the best quality products at the most affordable prices to consumers due to our strategic location near the port and our ongoing efforts to streamline our processes.
Our team is composed of skilled and experienced professional and we are currently supported by 130+ external service providers.
After securing our position in the South African market, we plan to open a facility in Johannesburg and expand storage capacity at our Durban facility.
Bakhresa SA (Pty) Limited was awarded “Major Investor from Africa – 2019” by the Department of Trade and Industry, KwaZulu-Natal.
